Yoons is a contemporary French artist who rethinks the relationship between art, technology, and perception.
With his Chromatic Faces collection, he explores identity through lenticular portraits, where light and color become the driving forces behind a visual experience that is both vibrant and immersive.
Each work reveals two complementary dimensions:
a striking portrait, rendered in intense chromatic tones,
and, when moving, a QR code appears in contrast, in opposite colors.
This game of revelation transforms the surface into a dialogue between the real and the digital.
The QR code, far from being a simple technological tool, becomes a pictorial element in its own right, carrying meaning and visual tension.
It symbolizes the irruption of the virtual into matter, a deliberate, aesthetic and contemporary intrusion.
By scanning it, the viewer gains access to the digital alter ego of the work, in the form of an NFT.
But here, no technical skills are required: the experience is fluid, direct, intuitive.
Each piece thus offers a unique duality, a physical, tangible and sensitive work and its digital version, unforgeable and alive.
